Use Onscreen KeyBoard, for safer login, Hurry Up Windows 7 is free till 20th Aug 2009

Just few days back , I mentioned about "play safe" ,use of "virtual key boards". Now a days most of the antivirus programs, like Kasper sky, ICICI banks, Credit cards & others are integrating the virtual key board, in their software, to prevent identity & data theft. Virtual key boards really provide a safe login for you, as you are not using, the physical keyboard. Windows 7 has so many great features, & one of them is Enhanced Security. Windows 7 has onscreen virtual key board , which you can use for safer browsing & logging online. see the screen shot



For opening Onscreen key board in Windows 7 , click START--> type ONSCREEN -KEY BOARD
& it will open. Use it & close it . If you want to open it with start up , then go to settings & select "Turn on at start up".
If you are still using older version of windows, then you can shift to Windows 7 , by genuine operating system provided by Microsoft for "FREE", & it will work till June 2010.

Norton 2010, Internet Security & Antivirus/ The Unofficial Review, will it beat the New Kaspersky 2010

Norton 2010 beta has now with improved look & functions. The beta download is the testing version & free to use. you can download it from the official site Symnatec.com. although after I downloaded it , it really gave me a brain job to install it. Norton 2010 beta is released with two versions, Norton Internet Security2010, & Norton Antivirus 2010, but it really need some time & skill to install any of two.

First you have to register your email for downloading then, the keys will be emailed to you. Then after clicking download, the norton download manager will download the zip file to your Desktop.

After that you have to make a folder in C:// drive as SymNRA, & unzip the files in that folder.

Even after that, you won't be able to run Norton , you have to download a tool from Norton & fill a form, then the .exe file will be available in the SymNRA folder.........too much.......cumbersome.

O.K. , but all these are worth doing as the new 2010 version is quite fast, & with some great new feature : such as Safe Login & Identity card. The Identity safe login protects your password by a unique Identity login password allotted to you by Norton. The back loops are also there for this feature, because if you can't put the right safe norton password , then you can't login the desired page. The Identity card is also there for your recognition to prevent any unauthorised acess.

The Norton also gives you a norton safe search toolbar like the Mcafee antivirus, & indicate , whether the site you are trying to open is safe or not?

I scanned my whole computer within 15 minutes. & my 160 GB external hard drive (almost full) in just 15minutes, so the speed is also good.
