How to close "not responding" Web page / Program ---> use of Task Manager

Hi!! there. many of us who are not expert in computers, must have faced the problem while surfing or using multiple tasks in computer, of hang ups of Web page or Program. when we click again & again on that program or window, nothing happens. The program simply stops responding & the error shows that, the Internet explorer is not responding or the program is not responding. Here is a simple common man's method to solve this.

The only option left for a common man if the program/window is not responding, is to shut down the computer, or restart it, but by doing this we loose many of our unsaved data. I used to face this problem a lot, because my computer was often infected with virus ,previously in the past, till one day I learnt the use of "Task Manager". If the program is not responding then, open your "Windows Task Manager" by clicking "Ctrl+Alt+Del" all three buttons simultaneously. In the Task Manager simply select the program , that is not responding, and click "End Task". This will close that program & your other programs will be saved. So simple----- see the screen shots below

Those who are computer expert are doing this regularly , to save time . It is worth closing the program, rather than waiting for it to respond. If the computer is virus infected , this "not responding" problem occurs, too often. See my post on 20 tips to save your computer
There are also other uses of Task Manager, like finding viruses & unauthorized users on your computer. All these in next post. Keep Reading :-)
